Sky Media Red Button Evaluation Case Study

In July 2008, Sky Media commissioned Decipher to test consumer reaction to Sky’s new prototype red button service. Using the IQ model, Decipher launched a quant survey incorporating an emulation of a television set with a Sky set top box. Viewers were exposed to advertising spots in which either the current or prototype red button services were present. Decipher was able to deliver statistical comparisons on visibility, coherence, and likelihood to click.
