The Second Wave of Decipher's 2012 Future Media Research Project is Underway
by Matt McNally - Apr 2012
Decipher has begun work on the Future Media Research Project 2012 - Wave 2. FMRP is a quarterly research and consultancy initiative which seeks to bring together both Decipher's unqiue insight, as well as both quantitative and qualitative research, into a piece of thinking which addresses some of the main questions and issues facing the media landscape at this time. This quarter the emphasis is on second screening, looking at how we define second screen, what the second screen revolution means for the various platforms and broadcasters, and also whether or not the whole second screen buzz is substantiated in the first place.
The first wave of 2012, which was completed in early March, examined the impact of Connected Televisions on the consumer media market. 2012 Wave 2 is expected to be completed in late May.
